Can I use the equipment for night ski?
A

If you would like to night ski, please inform us upon rental. An additional fee of 2,000 yen per person applies. Equipment must be returned to Yuzawa shop only. Night shuttle service is not available(shuttle ends at 17:00).

What if I am late returning?
A

Please contact us before 5 PM. A fee of 1,500 yen will be charged if no prior notice is given.

If I want to go to Gala Ski Resort and which station should I go?
A

It is recommended to get off at Echigo-Yuzawa Station for a quicker process. However, on busy days such as holidays, lockers at Echigo-Yuzawa Station may be limited. In that case, we recommend getting off at GALA Yuzawa Station, changing into your ski wear first, and then contacting us for pickup.

Can I rent without a reservation?
A

Yes, you can. However, we recommend making a reservation for a smoother experience.

Can I make a reservation by phone?
A

We’re sorry, but we do not accept reservations by phone. Please make a reservation through our website by the day before.

How early can I start making reservation?
A

Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance. Available dates are released gradually. If your preferred date is not shown, please wait or contact us.

Can I come the day before for the fitting?
A

We do not offer fittings on the day before. Please come on the date of rental.

When do I make the payment? Can I use a credit card?
A

Please make the payment upon arrival at the shop. Credit cards, cash, and PayPay are accepted.

Is there a half-day rental? or hourly rental? and if I rent in the afternoon, is it still a full-day charge?
A

We do not offer half-day or hourly rentals. Renting in the afternoon is also charged as a full day.

Can I choose the board’s flex (softness/hardness)?
A

Flex cannot be selected for standard boards. It is only available for high-grade boards that have flexibility labels.

Do I need to return each day if I rent over two days?
A

You don’t need to return the equipment during the rental. Also, our shop offers the storage of rental boards and boots, and as for small items such as goggles, gloves, or helmets please keep them by yourself.

Can the binding angle be adjusted?
A

Yes, we can adjust it according to your preference.

Can I rent in April?
A

It depends on the weather condition, but rentals are available if ski resorts are open.

Can I use my own bindings with your rental board?
A

It depends on the type of your bindings. Please bring them to the store for confirmation. Also, step on bindings are not supported.

Can I purchase only lifting tickets?
A

Lifting tickets are only available for customers with reservations(snowboard or ski set rental customers limited).

Can I reserve lifting tickets in advance?
A

On-site purchase and cash only.

Is it possible that the lifting tickets are sold out?
A

Yes, we might run out of stock during busy periods.

Is the free shuttle schedule fixed?
A

No, it is not fixed. Please contact the Yuzawa store or our official account upon arrival at the pick-up point. You may need to wait during busy times.

How can I use the free shuttle service?
A

It is available for customers renting at least two sets of adult equipment or spending over 7,000 yen per person.

Can you come pick up the equipment?
A

Yes, if it’s within the free shuttle area. Please show your receipt upon returning the equipment.

Can I store my luggage?
A

Locker fee is 500 yen (for items under 20 inches). Large luggage is 1,000 yen per item.

Can I change the ski resort destination on the day?
A

Yes, it is possible to change it before departure.
